SSCP will be piloting having our formal programming at ABCT rather than APS during 2024 and 2025, with this decision being made based on member feedback on which conferences they attend.
To submit a poster for the 2024 SSCP Student Poster Award, you will submit your poster through the ABCT portal for general submissions, which is open through Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 11:59PM PDT. Poster Abstracts are limited to 2800 characters. Multiple $300 and $100 awards will be given for the SSCP Student Poster winners and distinguished contributions, respectively.
If you would like to have your poster considered for the SSCP student poster awards, please include "SSCP Submission:" before your title in the general submission portal. Students can be considered for one of three poster awards and will be asked to indicate which they wish to be considered for and to submit their poster as a PDF
To be eligible to submit an SSCP poster, the first author of the poster must be an undergraduate or graduate student or postbaccalaureate and must be a member of SSCP at the time of submission. Research should be original and not previously published or submitted. The research and analyses presented in the poster submission must be completed at the time of abstract submission.
If you have any questions about the SSCP Student Poster Competition at APS, please contact Rosanna Breaux at rbreaux@vt.edu. Please put “SSCP Poster” in the subject line to ensure your question is answered promptly.
